I am opposed to the proposed Mall at Oyster Bay on the former Cerro Wire property in Syosset. Furthermore, I also ask that you do everything in your power to stop actions by the Taubman Company to strip the Town of Oyster Bay of its authority to serve as the lead agency for the environmental review of the mall plan by turning that power over to New York State. The ultimate decision about the mall application should remain completely within the jurisdiction of the Town, just as it has for the past 17 years.
